Research shows that taking time to sit and breathe lowers stress, helps reduce insomnia, and improves overall health.
Meditation helps you focus better by training your brain to become better at filtering out any unnecessary information.
Every day you’ll get a prompt from Dave to help you slow down, appreciate simple pleasures, and live in the moment. In the spirit of what Happier is all about, we will ask you to share something positive to start the day.
Dave will guide you through a short, sweet 5-10 minute meditation set to soothing musicscapes created by East Forest. These are not stereotypical meditations taught by monks in loincloths eating seeds on faraway mountaintops. And hey, there’s nothing wrong with faraway mountaintops. But most of us don’t have time to go faraway, so we are presenting to you a new, fun, modern approach to meditation that is relevant for your busy life.
Maybe you can't go to one of Dave's workshops or retreats, but our short, original videos will help you feel like he is right there with you, offering advice, inspiration, and tons of ideas for how you can make a few minutes of meditation a part of your daily life.
Daily Tips, advice, quotes, and stories that will keep you mindful and motivated to make meditation part of your everyday life even after your Meditation Vacation is over.

Meditation Vacation is a 7-day course. Complete it and you’ll learn how to meditate in a way that’s simple, relaxing, and fun!
We know you’re busy so we’ve designed the course to fit into your schedule. All you need to complete it is 5-15 minutes per day.
Of course you should! Closing your eyes, being still, and facing yourself isn’t as hard or as scary as you think! All it takes is one moment to shift the energy from dreading to dreaming, from fearing to hoping, from grinding to living. There is absolutely no prior experience required.
The goal of this course is to help you learn a simple meditation practice and make it part of your daily life. Every morning we’ll ask you to do or think of something to help you start the day off in a positive way. We’ll then offer you a guided (words and music) 5-10 minute meditation that Dave designed specifically for this course. You can choose to listen to it at any time that day. At night we will ask you to share your experience with it (which you can keep private if you like.) And along the way we’ll give you specific ideas and tips for your meditation practice through videos, examples, and stories we think you’ll find inspiring.
We’d love to hear from you! Dave and Nataly and our support team will be standing by to answer any of your questions, so please ask away!
Dave’s philosophy on meditation is simple: If you’ve been scared or simply unable to mediate, that’s about to change, because if it doesn’t feel good, you’re not doing it right. If you’ve always wanted to try meditation but didn’t know how or where to start, Meditation Vacation is the course for you!
We are working hard on our Android version and should have it available in early spring.
We care a lot about maintaining your privacy. As you take the course you will be able to decide whether you want to share your happy moments from the course with others or keep them completely private. It's entirely up to you.
